A Date with the Twins

This was one of those "divide-and-conquer" days where we split up to get several things accomplished in a short amount of time.  Kris took Brody and Jayce to Sam's to get some essentials, and I took the twins to get haircuts.  I had been wanting to get Emersyn's first haircut for a long time but could never fit it into our schedule!  And Jax wanted one too, so he got his first "real" haircut (Kris buzzes the boys' hair).

I was just going to take them to a place in the mall, but I didn't want to wait for it to open, so we rode a few quarter rides and headed to a place in Perrysburg.


The haircuts!  They were both so cute!!  Emersyn got an inch or so taken off just to even things out and remove split ends.  Although I think she'd look adorable with short hair, I'm secretly hoping she always wants it long. :)


Then we went out for ice cream cones.  They thought this was quite a special treat!


Love those pretty eyes!  I always tell her "Brown-Eyed Girl" is her song.
