Memorial Day Weekend Picnic

We met my sister's family and had a nice, peaceful morning playing at our hometown park over the Memorial Day weekend. Each time we've been here with the kids, no one else has been around. Kind of nice not to worry about losing your kids in a crowd of other kids!

Jaycer's first time in a real swing...

Jax wanted to try this glider-thing, but then he became nervous and very unsure and just wanted Daddy. It was so sweet.

I walked Brody down by the river and told him that when I was little we'd come to this river and walk around in it and catch crayfish. I don't even know if that's what the things were technically called, but that's what we called them. :)

Then Brody, Jayce, and I walked a short trail together. Brody said it was an "adventure."

We played a bit longer after eating, but clearly it was time to head home for naps!
