The baby of the family is three years old!! Ahhh! Look at this sweet face…
it almost makes me forget that three has historically not been my favorite age with our little ones! ;)

He was enjoying a meatball cupcake (so yum) that Ya Ya had made for dinner! We not only celebrated him turning three but also the fact that this little guy finally seems to be healthy again. He had a rough fews weeks…strep throat, then in the hospital for four days with some stomach virus, then a respiratory illness to top it all off. (Kid, you're done now, kay?)

Soooo, what's our littlest guy like at 3? He is so darn sweet…and fun…and funny. I could listen to his cute voice all day long. Lately the very first thing he tells me in the morning is, "Mommy, I'm always gonna be your baby." Of all four of our kids, he has always been the most go-with-the-flow type of kid. That's not to say tantrums and tears are never seen--they are--but he is pretty much game for whatever we suggest, and he loves doing every little thing his big siblings do.

Jayce's three favorite things in the world are probably donuts, firefighters, and monster trucks! He is a total B-O-Y and loves to get dirty, loves to crash things and make noise, loves to run all over the place, and looooooves to annoy his sister. He is usually an amazing eater and, just like Brody, will eat anything you give him. His faves are mac and cheese, yogurt, pancakes, bananas, pizza, and donuts--just to name a few! His favorite color is "lellow." Hee hee.

Jayce has weighed more than each of the twins for awhile now, and he is just barely shorter than they are. Many people out and about have asked us if we have triplets! He wears both 3T and 4T sizes, and he and Jax were sharing shoes for awhile, but Jayce's feet are now bigger. :)
He is a pretty good sleeper--lies down and falls right asleep usually--but most mornings we wake up to him in our bed! He also still takes an afternoon nap for an hour or two. Jayce is soooooo loved by Brody, Emersyn, and Jaxson. During his hospital stay, Brody said to me, "I really miss Jayce," and it was so heartfelt and sweet I wanted to cry.

An all-time favorite picture of my Jaycer!

Some other favorites of his include dancing, making silly faces, playing outside, mimicking football players he sees on TV, going camping, watching movies about firefighters/trucks and tractors, helping in the kitchen, and reading nursery rhymes together.
It has been another wonderful year of growth, milestones, and memories for our Jaycer. We are so blessed by all four of our amazing children!
