Last Saturday after naps, we loaded up our crew and a picnic dinner and drove to Marblehead Lighthouse for a change of scenery. I just love being by the water. It's so relaxing and has a way of putting your worries into perspective.
We ate right away and then toured the grounds. The kids all loved climbing those BIG rocks!

We left the lighthouse and made a quick stop to visit my dad at the marina. We didn't stay long though, as the skies looked very threatening this night. It rained almost the entire trip home, but we were treated to some amazing lightning like I've never seen before!

So many good ones but my favs are B with his head tilted and his hands up by his face, B facing the water with his hands on his hips and Kris with all four kids....I just love how Jaycer is looking up at him and Jax has his arms wrapped around his neck. Such a good Daddy!
Love all the pics! So true about the water! My fam did the exact same thing growing up. My Mom and Dad’s initials were carved in one of the rocks years and years ago. Every time we go we find it and recarve them for safe measure. Love that memory!!!
