The Start of Summer Break...

…I'd say we nailed it!!! :)  Ha ha ha…backtracking to the last day of school again…I had to go to Brody's school a bit early to get his medicine out of the office.  The kids and I played Duck, Duck, Goose in the yard while we waited for Brody to come out the doors as an official first grader!!!

When we got back home, each child had a few "Happy Summer" surprises at their place settings.


We used that silly string right away! :)


Sometimes I'll look at pictures of all four kids and think, "This is the perfect picture to recreate someday!"  Weird, huh?  But really, wouldn't it be funny to do this next picture over, same poses, when they are like…40, 38, 38, and 36?!  Hahaha.


The next day we went to the zoo for a couple hours.  We had two main missions: see the penguins and ride the carousel!  But we also visited many other exhibits along the way.

After this, we ate lunch at Pizza Papalis for the first time.  It was so fun that the kids got to assemble their own little pizzas, and for the most part, we had pretty good manners throughout!  What a fun start to the summer!
