The total fair experience...

...begins with a stop at the tractors and construction vehicles, of course!

And then on to checking out the horse races at the track...

Into the barn for some farm animals...

To make it a truly authentic experience, please step in a cow patty and get it squashed over the front of your sandal and onto your toes. Then look like an idiot trying to kick the sh*t off while looking over your shoulders hoping no one is watching you. After you realize it's just too sticky to kick off, remove sandal (accidentally grazing it against your stroller so you have an additional mess to clean up) and wipe it--and your toes--on the grass outside the barn for a quick fix. Take a shower and disinfect sandal when you return home.

Mooooo-ving right along...

The total fair experience continues with the purchasing of ride tickets. How many should we get? Should we buy the wristband? Single tickets?? He might decide he doesn't want to ride anything!?!

When one child started showing signs that a meltdown was imminent, we took that as our cue to leave. It can be contagious, you know.

Your entire cow patty experience (minus the stroller part) happened to us (Will specifically) last Saturday on another farm visit. :) Haha.

And those are awesome pictures you took at the fair - especially on the carousel. Did you study up on something or take a class? You've got the super crisp subject and out-of-focus background down perfectly! I NEED a new camera... and a lesson on how to use it! :)

Looks like Tracy lucked out and got to go on ALL the rides with the kids! :) Did this cow poop stepping happen to you or one of the kids? YUCK!!! I'm so not a farm person and that would have made me gag! LOL

LOL such a fun night! and, Casey...yeah that was super fun, but my legs are long enough as it is trying to fit into the caboose was slightly awkward ;-)
Kel- the way you worded your cow patty experience makes me want to run across the street and take both my sandals off and jump right in! lol

Ashley, I give the camera full credit. :) We got a Nikon D5100 at the beginning of summer and are selling the D70 we bought from friends. Love the new one, but honestly, there's soooooooo much I don't know about it yet!

Casey, the poop was all me. I even smeared it all over my shin but left that part out, hahahahaha.
