My littlest boy, you're on your way to TWO! You are quite the mischievous little one, flashing that adorable grin just before doing something you know you're not supposed to do!! Almost like you think we can't possibly discipline you after getting a dose of your exploding cuteness.


You are a lover! You are full of hugs and kisses, especially for Mommy. Random and repeated requests for "huggies, huggies" all throughout the day just make me melt. You're the first one to yell, "Mama!" and run to the door when I get home from work. You wrap your little arms around my neck before bedtime and squeeze with all your might. I love to feel your love! You adore your brother and "sissy" so much, and you always ask and wonder about them when either is not in your sight.




You are such a curious little boy, and there are so many things that excite and fascinate you right now. You love looking out the windows to watch for animals of all kinds, especially birds. Whenever you see one, you get the biggest smile and yell, "Teet, teet!" Cars are equally impressive to you. You yell, "Caaaaaaarrrrrrrrr!" when you see one, and then promptly beg for more. Maybe soon you'll understand that we don't control when cars drive by our house, silly! :)


Your curiosity coupled with that normal toddler-testing-limits thing has forced us to implement time-outs sooner than expected for you and your sister (well...mostly you). You can be a little too rough sometimes, but you are learning right from wrong, as well as the importance of apologizing for your mistakes.


Clumsy, clumsy you can be! There is usually some sort of scratch or bruise on your body at all times. You also have shown interest in playing catch and kicking around a soccer ball.


You still sometimes have restless nights of sleep, mostly due to teething here recently. I should probably just let you cry it out, but we rock and cuddle for a bit, and then you're good for the rest of the night. And instead of being annoyed about this, I always think about how fast you and your siblings are growing, and how I just want to hold on to moments like these for as long as possible!

My sweet baby boy is turning into a BIG boy!
