First Splash

Finally...on one of the last evenings in June, our pool saw its first visitors of the summer! Kris was still at work, so just Brody and I went for a quick swim after getting the other three kids down for bedtime.

With Kris working 2p-10p and us wanting to do various activities away from home, it's not often that we are both home during the warmest swimming hours so that all six of us can swim together. This was our first family swim of the summer...we had just arrived home from visiting friends, and instead of winding down and getting ready for bed, we swam!! Gotta love summer's relaxed schedule.

And then these next few were from another day. We were all running around getting suits on, sunscreen sprayed, towels gathered, whining about nothing, etc. ...and I caught this little sweetie just waiting patiently by the back door!
