Sleeping in (which in our home means about 7-7:30)...
A warm cup of coffee every morning, spiked with whatever flavor of Coffeemate my little heart desired...
Cuddles on the couch with the oldest, under a toasty blanket crocheted by my grandmother...
One baby on my hip and another pulling at my leg...
Leisurely making breakfast each morning...
Tucking my loves in for afternoon naps...
Chatting with the hubby after bedtime, without a stack of papers and grading pen in sight...
All those things I miss about last year.
So yeah, it was pretty wonderful. We did make it out and about a couple times.
To Sylvania Playland...

See that kid behind Brody? Same one who would later be pushing my babies and sticking his foot in their faces...in the toddler area.
Grrrrrrrr, this mama bear had to make an appearance. :)

Do you agree that Jaxson looks even cuter than normal in this pic below?

Brody went up and down the big slide several times. He loved it.

And another occasion...
Have Circle K gingerbread cappuccino, will travel around looking at Christmas lights since we were too late for a zoo trip to make up for the first one weeks ago.

Awesome side-by-side houses in town set to music.

Lights on Lime City...

And so it begins again. The wait.
The wait for the next holiday, or snow day, or weekend.
Hoping that time goes by quickly enough to bring me back home--but not too quickly.
Because time is racing by, and these kids are growing way too fast.
