First Summer Zoo Trip

We enjoyed a beautiful morning at the zoo yesterday! Sunshine, comfortable temperature, and perfectly happy kids. Kris and I always feel so accomplished when we can make it through an outing or visit with no meltdowns. (Well, we did have a wagon accident on our way towards the exit. Brody fell out, but he was okay after a few minutes, and it was not his fault.)

We hadn't been to the zoo since our bummer Lights Before Christmas visit when Jaxson was not feeling well, so we stopped quick to renew our membership.


After checking out the polar bears first, we stopped to say hi to the ducks!




We were hoping to see the baby elephant, but the line was just more than we could handle right then. We spent the majority of our visit inside at Nature's Neighborhood. The kids had so much fun!














Brody couldn't be bothered with a "honeycomb" pic, but these turned out cute!










I don't know if this area is new or if I've just overlooked it in the past, but kids can stand in front of a green screen and see themselves on a TV.
