Camping at Harrison Lake

Saturday, June 2nd - Monday, June 4th was our first camping trip of the summer. We tried Harrison Lake State Park for the first time, and we really liked it and want to go back. The sites are spacious, there are several playgrounds, a beach area, and lots of room to explore! I took many pictures, so I'm only posting my faves on the blog. I included the video slideshow at the end in case anyone hasn't seen it.

After we were all set up Saturday afternoon, Kris got out the bounce house for the kiddos. No serious injuries to report! :)

OMG!! I have been so annoyed with Brody's camera "smiles" lately, ha ha.

This was cute...she kept swinging from the stroller bar. We told her she can't do it unless Jayce is sitting in the front or else she'll tip over...five minutes later she did it without Jayce seated. Landed on her feet though--a perfect "ten" dismount. :)



Saturday night was pretty frustrating trying to get everyone down to bed. The older three were awake until midnight...and at that time, Jayce got up! Ugh. We were up bright and early at 6:30 the next morning, and Kris informed me that we forgot to pack the coffee!! We got our caffeine fix at McD's, and then went for a long, refreshing walk. Amazing what a little sunshine can do for you!

We made two trips to the beach. These pics are from Sunday late afternoon. It was very warm in the sun, but man, that water was freezing!

We kept Jaycer here until he started eating the sand!

I remember taking a pic like this last summer (minus Jayce). It feels like it was yesterday...I just can't believe how fast time is going!
