Zooin' It On the Pumpkin Path

Saturday morning we made it to the Pumpkin Path, one of several fall events that the Toledo Zoo hosts. We met my sister's family right about 10:00, and Kris was running on just a few hours of sleep from working the night before.

The "path" began by the polar bear exhibit, and there were just a few stops for kids to trick-or-treat. It was a very long, slow-moving line, so we opted out and headed across the bridge to the main part of the zoo. Here we were able to just wander around a little more and visit each trick-or-treat station as we were talking or looking at other things. Keeping a three-year-old in line is pretty much torturous...for both parent and child!

Lion on lion, LOL.
Jaxson says, "STEP INTO A SLIM JIM!!"
Pumpkin Princess, Emersyn.

Oh, yea! Family picture time!

Sister's fam...

Hug attack!

Brody got to meet and "high-five" Bob Evans' own Biscuit and Gravy.

Jaxson just being loud!

We made a quick stop inside Nature's Neighborhood so Brody could run around and try this maze.

One more stop on our way back to the entrance. Just before a bathroom break meltdown from the Brodster. (Thanks for the cute, from-behind shot, Tracy!)

Does October really have to be coming to end?? I'm just having too much fun for it to be over yet! :)
