The kids had a pretty normal morning at home with Kris while I was out and about getting last-minute things, and then when I returned he left to run some more errands and grab us Nagoya take-out for lunch! The kids fortunately took great naps (we'd had a few later-than-usual nights leading up to this day), and we headed over to my mom and Dan's house to celebrate around 3:30ish.

Jaxson sitting still...you just don't see that too often. :)

The kids were so spoiled by their Yaya and Papa!

One of Brody's gifts was a guitar. He was so excited!!

One of Jax's gifts was this neat campfire. It was a hit! All the kids kind of flocked to it and wanted to try it out, but he unfortunately wasn't too interested in sharing. :(

Jordan and Emersyn

We left there and took a little drive through town to see some Christmas lights since that was one of those things we just hadn't gotten around to yet.

The kids were super-excited to sprinkle (or rather, dump) their special reindeer food out in the front yard!

Then it was back inside to get ready for bed (Jayce was asleep already) and set out cookies and milk for Santa. The past few years we have left chocolate milk with mini marshmallows on top. All three big kids wanted a chance to stir the milk, put marshmallows in, and stick a straw in! Pretty sure I'll remember these sweet moments for the rest of my life!

What more could Santa ask for??

The kids went right to sleep!
