Quick Visit to the Zoo

Saturday morning we met my sister and nephew at the zoo. Let's just say we've had better family outings than this! I think we were all too hot and moody to have an enjoyable time. Ahh, well. Ya win some, ya lose some. :)

We visited the polar bears first. In this picture below, Brody was just messing around, not paying any attention to the exhibit. Suddenly, one of the polar bears jumped into the water and swam right next to him! He was shocked for a split second but thought it was so funny.


This guy put on quite a show!

We finally saw Lucas, the new baby elephant!


It was Fisher-Price Weekend at the zoo. Nothing real amazing that I could see, but maybe there was something I missed. Here Tracy, Tae, Kris, and Brody were waiting in line to drive little vehicles around a track.


Brody got to drive an Escalade around the track once, which took all of 15 seconds. As you can imagine, this did not go over well!! Poor guy just didn't understand why he couldn't keep going and going.




The gorillas never fail to entertain.

A little playground action, and then we had to call it quits!
