'Twas the Night Before Christmas

Christmas Eve morning I had to send Kris out to finish shopping. I am always that person that is buying last minute things on Christmas Eve and wrapping later that night. Every. Single. Year. And every year I vow that the next year will be different...ha!

In the early afternoon we headed over to my mom and Dan's house to eat and celebrate. This was before we left:

"All I want for Christmas is for Mommy to stop taking my picture!!!!"

Emersyn, Jaxson, and Tae chillin' while everyone ate.

Jordan and Brody playing the piano. Brody was playing right next to Jordan, but she told him to stop because she wanted to play a song by herself. So he went to the end and started playing, almost as if he thought she wouldn't see him, LOL!

Dan holding Brody and opening presents!

Fisher Price airplane...remember he loves airplanes?

And my mom also found these boy/girl twin babies for Brody. He wanted me to take them out so he could play with them, and then the first thing he did was throw them on the floor...geez, tell us how you really feel, Buddy!!

One gift we all got Mom and Dan was a photo of the grandkids. We had this taken a couple weeks ago at Portrait, and we were all surprised how smooth the whole thing went. The picture we used was actually the very first shot they took. My sis-in-law, Trish, created the frame.

Back at home when it got dark, Brody got to sprinkle his Magic Reindeer Food out on the lawn.

Then we set out cookies and milk for Santa. Brody thought some mini marshmallows would add a bit of flavor to the milk???

Hmmmm...Santa will never know, right?
Now we are excited to play Santa, and I'm also meeting Mom and Dan at church for the midnight service, which actually begins at 11PM. Merry Christmas, everyone!
