Body Art By Brody

On nights that Kris works, bathtime/bedtime is the hardest time. It's tricky getting 3 kids bathed, in jammies, fed, and to bed at a decent time. When I am giving the babies their baths, I try to give Brody something to do so that he will not be getting into trouble and can have fun without feeling ignored.

Aunt Tracy and Uncle Drew got Brody the perfect Christmas gift for him...finger paints, giant art paper, art smock, and little mini markers called "pip squeaks." How cute is that?? One night this week I set Brody at the table with a piece of paper and a few of his new markers so that he could color while I was giving baths. I half-expected that he'd have a few marks on him, but it kept him quiet and happy while I was busy. Check out the pictures below of his "body art." I think he might be good at designing tattoos some day...

I told him to show me his hands. I just love how he can look all innocent!

I think he was going for the bloody, gory look this day. Could be a make-up artist on a horror film set someday??
